- There is something to be said for a mother's love and loving your mother. So a man that won't love and respect his mother probably won't respect you either ladies. God doesn't put a condition on the the honoring of your parents so good mother or bad mother they are still your mother. There is promise of blessing with long life the word of God says so. Someone who thought enough of you to carry you in her womb nine months is worthy of some type of respect. They gave you the opportunity to live and make your choices in life and there is great love in that.
